So I'm not gonna lie, doing CF has taught me how to use materials in moderation. One pound of resin is 454 grams of resin. I've been using grams because it makes things easier to mix. The last coat of resin I put on was 33 grams of resin and 11 of hardener. That's a tenth of a pound, and somehow I only used about half the resin.

I also ripped the carbon off my ECM cover because it was ugly and had grass in the resin. Damn wind. Will try again tomorrow. Preferably with spray adhesive.

Removed my driver side A-pillar/wideband and put the first layer of carbon fiber on it. Looks like this one is going to need a second layer too.

Yup .. halfway thru I considered running to Crappy tire to get one of these, but some determination with my beefiest needlenose did the trick. If (when) I do this again I'll just get the tool.

I just ordered Spyder projector headlights from 4 wheel online. The stock on the left side has a big crack so I decided to replace both with aftermarket headlights. I chose the smoke color.

I also just placed some orders to revamp headlights. My relay harness isn't providing enough current to keep my HID ballasts on so I ordered a plug and play replacement. Also, I threw in HIDs for my fog lights and harness for them

Well, to start off I'd like to say I'm not into abusing my car. It did have 270k on the motor and with no issues. But after not driving the car for so long, I took it over to a track this morning just to get my times. Halfway through 2nd, I heard a loud ass pop and showered the track in oil.

Ouch. My girlfriend managed to crack my number 4 piston at 150,000 miles. Not saying it's her fault but the car was running just fine before she took it out Decided to rebuild and go for another 150,000!
