How bright are they compared to the silverstars or silverstar ultras?!

 

The ultras are definitely brighter than the OEMs by a lot, bit these are like, a noticeable brighter than even the ultras. They are also whiter with a hint of blue, the ultras we're a bit yellower.

 

Good to know. I've always ran SS's but bought SSU's this last time and they are significantly more yellow than the regular SS's. debating on returning them...

 

I would and I'd try the ZXE's for real.

 

I don't understand why everyone is liking filament bulbs over HIDs for the same price? Did I miss out of something lol..

You did miss something. I got them for half price. 30 bucks. Win.

Also, all things considered, HID's require a bit of work, whereas these took all of 5 minutes to install. I'm pro HID's believe me, and they're on my list of to do's, but for a quick, cheap upgrade, it was well worth the price.

 

Front bowtie is now black. Looks +100 better. Also, front bottom grill has been returned. Had 1 rock to the intercooler to many.

 

i did jack **** to it today, but over the weekend i de-badged and plasti-dipped the front emblem... yay

 

I need to repaint my front emblem. It's pitted and looks bad with little white dots in the black paint. Might go gloss instead of flat this time.

Need a new ballast for one of my fogs. I'll order that this week. I'd like to put new lenses in. I'm not sure how expensive they are. Have to look it up.

 

Did front pads and rotors today.

Fog lights? you can ge the whole assembly from rockauto for like $27 each.

regapped plugs, uploaded revision and data logged

 

 

Just put in led brake and turn sugnal bulbs...in process if painting cluster cover

 

bought a zzp 4.45 transmission

 

^^^^lucky lol, well I installed YYZ Sprinhs the other day, made it safe bk from from deployment n starting my build thread time now.

 

Installed new retros and fog lights. mkulrey13 is the man! He Does an awesome job building these. LED 3rd brake light will go in tomorrow, Also an mkulrey13 specialty.

 

Ordered new fog light housings to replace my sandblasted ones. Going to replace the bulbs and ballasts while I'm at it.

 

the car threw another CEL. fourth within 9 months. gaahhhhh. so excited to find out what it is this time
