what makes your cobalt unique
so is mine so i guess yours is not as unique as you think. lol
how too: its kinda simple to do the grille like this. i started with a factory sc grille. cut the middle slats out with a dremel. sanded it smooth. i painted the whole bezel black. after the paint dried i masked it where i wanted color and painted. then i happened to rock guard the color areas so rocks dont chip the color. the back is perferated metal. i made a template out of cardboard. using grinders and metal presses i cut my desired shape out of the metal. do not forget to cut holes for the bumper clips to go through in the middle bar area. painted it black. i attached it with some nuts and bolts to the middle slat of the bezel. i used 4 in total. slap it back together and 1 custom grille is done.
if your truely interested i can give a more in depth explaination in pm or something.
ps thank you for the compliments gents!!!!

^looks like a vinyl wrap (see fog light area)
what makes mine unique?
possibly the only ss/tc sedan with red/black interior theme including red/black ss/tc seats (to my knowledge the red/black ss/tc seats were rare in the coupes, never offered in sedans.. so having them in my turbo sedan is unique-ish), and custom FX-R retrofits.. thats all i really got thats out of the norm

My seats. GM dropped the two-tone seat option in 2010. I traded for these, but kept my black door panels and have my window switch bezels painted victory red. Also made the SS stitching on the seats red to match. I think it's unique.

that looks so good i think if the bottom grill was flush with the bumper tho it would look a little better
ya its vinyl, the fog light areas give it away. it is the only place its imposible to wrap without a seam.
@mrader im not so sure about flush with the front edge of the bumper. like they say to each his own. i dont mind the way its shaped with the air cut out area.

o no offense taken! hahahah i like the way you have it too. with the horizontal slats i believe it looks better closer to flush. my lower screen is really nothing more then a piece of metal. the previous owner of the car used chicken wire in that lower portion. he glued that in there with 40/40. so instead of cutting it all out and having a mess on the back side of the bumper i decided to use it for a attachment point for my screen. that would be the biggest reason why i didnt custom up a holder with a 2.4 lower bezel like i did with the top. some times i get lazy hahahahahahah. i may change it if i get a new bumper.
on a side note i am currently working on some door sills pieces. actually i should be done in a couple of hours. i am using black plexi, and decal of coarse. so far they look great.
@ cherry. that is a very nice looking engine bay. the attention to detail is something i can appreciate. good job!
