So on my passenger side on the inside of the wheel well on the top there is this little plastic box just chilling there. It has a rubber flap when i opened it, there were leafs. Guessing its like one of those things so when you slam your doors shut the pressure dosnt screw your windows up orrr???? I think its that making a flap sound to but what is it? before i fk with it

 

i know what ur talking about. i wondered the same when i saw it.
not sure what it is or what it does. maybe someone will have an answer

I would guess it is a body vent, basicly does what the OP stated.

Maybe it lets water out from the cowl (under the top of the hood) by the wipers?
