What are your winter Cobalt plans?
What are your winter Cobalt plans?
I made the "What are your summer Cobalt plans?" thread earlier this year, so I figured I'd go ahead and make this thread too.
I know winter for a lot of people means less car shows, closed tracks, etc etc, which makes for a good time to get some new mods on, stockpile on parts, perform basic maintnence, replace old stuff, etc etc. So lets hear it!
Ill start:
-2 new front tires to replace my 100% bald front tires that are currently on my 19"s.
-front end alignment/camber correction (had it done a few months ago but I snapped an SPC camber bolt and it threw it out of whack yet again
)
-get around to installing my Outerwears pre-filter on my AEM dryflow.
-have Dent Masters perform paintless ding removal of my drivers side door ding
-replace my b-pillar's black vinyl since it somehow got a few little scratches on it.
-ask for Modern Performance "SS" embroidered floormatts for Christmas so I can replace my stock matts....driver's side matt has mad clutch wear.
-powdercoat valve cover black.
And that's it folks!

Yeah, I refuse to put my stockers back on even though they have tread left and my 19"s don't, lol. I just love my 19"s too much. Its to the point that I can't even drive in rain though b/c of how bald my front tires are.

Not wreck this winter
No, seriously, I'd like to get a H/E (already sent a PM to a member so hopefully that will be soon), Bigger injectors (mine are over maxed even with a 2.9), step colder plugs, wide band, and retune.

Snow on steelies..wash clay rubbing compound wax pretty much full detail. Put a front bra on it take to shop get everything tuned up. and make it a point to every week give it a wash required that it snows and theres salt on the roads dont want the salt to eat my paint..and even tehn its sitting under a car cover=]

Mod plans..
-Chrome Halo CCFL projector housings
-LED tails from Modern Performance
-Possibly some lowering springs
I hope there's snow and an empty parking lot to mess around in.. what I don't hope for is that I end up wreckin the thing on the roads.. never driven this car in winter conditions.. other wise I'll get my Intrepid fixed and get its ass out there
