4-5K is common. Be careful of how bright you go. You run the risk of melting your housings...

The most common is probably 6000k because of the slight hint of blue it has. I always recommend 4300-5000k as they are the brightest. 4300k will have a tiny amount of yellow to it, and 5000k is a pure white.

No you don't. That won't happen. HIDs do not run hot enough to melt these housings.

I looked at them all, and ended up getting 6k headlights and 6k fogs. Wouldn't do anything else (well, maybe green fogs!).

Youre looking at a 12000k kit cause youre a ricer at heart.

4300k is the color that most OEM bulbs are, they are the brightest color. Even the commonly loved 6000k bulbs can have as much as 1/3 less output.

The color of the bulb is not what gives the cool color flicker that soo many of you guys are after. It the actual projector lenses. there is no PNP kit that will ever give you anywhere near the same output as a 4300k bulb in a projector, and you dont look cool faking it with an uber high k bulb. you look like a ricer. Not to mention you cant see as well and youre likley blinding others.

Totally off topic but you don't have to own an import to be a ricer.

You don't ever get flashed with 10000k because they barely put out any light, that and its hard to flash when I'm laughing that hard.
