manual or automatic? does it have the racing rear diff ?

Love the 5.0s but HATE them in white. Not a fan of white cars to start, but on the new Stang it just looks like someone forgot to put paint on it. Dealership by my dad's work has been trying to unload a white one for months. I dropped one of his work trucks off there and started BSing with a sales guy about them, he was just dying for me to take that one. They were willing to knock quite a bit off, but a) I'm in no place to buy a new car right now and b) they would have to pay me a helluva lot more than $30k to be stuck with a white one.

 

Kona Blue looks way better I think. I've had white cars. Too much hassle to keep clean, and hurts my eyes to look at them in direct sunlight when they are clean.

pretty sweet ride, but if i was gonna get a mustang it would be an 03 cobra. not a huge fan of the whole retro look movement.

Manual, and it has the 3.31s I didn't want to get the 3.73s since i commute to work mon-friday and wanted to get atleast decent gas mileage.

This thing still pulls freaking hard with the stock rearend it just squats down and these fat 19s hook up perfectly

Hoping to have it blown by this time next year.

I can see why you got it we just got a used 5.0 where I work and finallt got to drive it with the m6. Have to say it sounded good and had a nice interior. I was thinking of picking one up after I pay off the 09 Cobalt SS i just got next year. Funny cause I sold my 93 5.0 to by my Cobalt. Now I want a 2011 or 2012 5.0. I am just waiting to make sure they get all the gremlins out b4 I buy one. Last time I bought a brand new Mustang was in 96 the 1st yr of the 4.6 and was always in the shop. good luck and I like those wheels. hopefully I can find a Kona Blue with those.

Car looks good, but have fun when that Chinese built Getrag gives out on you.

 

Lethal Performance has the new 5.0 running 10.2 1/4 miles on the stock Getrag MT-82. It was designed by Ford/Getrag, not the Chinese, its just built there to help control costs. Obviously they factored in the quality control, its not like they chose a chinese supplier, its just a Ford/Getrag plany located in China.

There were some bugs in the trans in the beginning(loose PP bolts), but they seem to have worked out the issues.

I know how and where the trans was built, which is why I said Chinese built. Now go tell all those owners about how awesome some built shop car is when their car is sitting on a tow truck going back to the dealer for it's third transmission in less than 10k miles.

Hell, my buddies car is sitting at the dealer this morning after getting towed because it **** out after barely 6k miles.

**** YEA MERRICA, FORD 5.0 IS BACK! Just don't mind the fact that we fucked up and put a **** ass trans on it, instead of a known good trans COUGH T56 COUGH.
