Just like the title says, when are you guys putting the summers back on? or bring the car out of storage? list you location too!

 

They stay on all year long

 

well for us winter folks...

 

I hear ya I have been there. I still have my 16" steelies with snow tires just in case I have to move up north again lol.

 

First or second week of April... ish.

 

I was thinking of brining mine out on the 9th of April (if the weather is good then) that is the last day of classes, so I thought it would be a good time.

 

2 weeks for me.. im too impatient to wait another month

I never drive it in the snow. I've put a grand total of about 1000 miles on it since october. only have them to avoid destroying my 18"s on the road craters we have here.

 

when it gets above freezing

 

i was gonna put them on last weekend, now im glad i didnt cause we had a huge snow storm wednesday.

the summers go on when it doesnt drop below freezing overnight.

 

2-3 weeks or so. Then it'll be off to the meets! gotta look good

 

moved to the general section.

 

theres some hugs potholes around here to, cant imagine it up there.. i need new struts but im definately goin to wait atleast another 2 months or so to put those on

 

unfortunately all year...i need snowies

 

On the 06 SS, I have never removed the stock tires and rims. I don't drive it in the snow so there was no need to remove them.

 

I'll put rims on when I buy some. Damn 15" stock steelies. Got bored and put the hubcabs back on yesterday lol

 

it snows and rains here...you just have to learn to drive in it. they never come off

I take mine out of storage when the april showers clean all the **** off the roads.. They use a mix of salt ,sand and what appears to be mud on the roads around here . It takes a few big rain storms to clean them up.

 

Hopefully by the end of March. It really depends on the forecast when I see days of temps above freezing and no snow then there going on! Im really hating the look of steelies, I may be looking for alloys for winter next year.

 

Location: Michigan. My summer rims will go on about Mid May. I'll have them on for my Spring Break trip in Florida though!
