Question, on the SS 2.4 Sedan are they back lit and what color do the numbers on the dials light up? I would love to see a night pic of these.

The faces themselves have a nice glow. The numbers are a light green and the needles are red. I don't have a pic, but maybe someone does. I thought it was really cool when I firts saw it.

They light up white at night...or i think i haven't driven much at night lately...

 

 

When I starting looking at a Cobalt, saw one that had them, I would not have bought mine if it didn't come with them.

 

Yeah, I really like my white gauges. They look real nice during the day and night.

i honestly like the 2.4s guages better then the ss also my bf has a 2.4 n they r pretty sweet looking if u ask me lol

my 2.2 has 2.4 ss white gauges....I dont know why my Ls coupe has these hidden features the 2.4's have. When I first bought my car they said it was from the Nyc Car show in 05 so myabe they played around with mine before the 06 ss 2.4s came out. Weird Some of things that I am talking about are, Black Leather seats, White Gauges, 7 spk pioneer system, Parellis, sunroof , fog lights, ,heated seats etc anyyone esle have a rare 05 2.2 with these features?

 

the 2.4 is an SS.. you mean the SS S/C gauges. lol.

there are a lot of things about the SS that i like over the SS S/C. horsepower and the stronger tranny are the only highlights the SC has for me.

 

okay, you have an LS with sport package. it is the same as the 06 2LT or the 07 3LT

chevy keeps changing the models.

05: base model, LS, LT, SS
06: LS (replaced base), LT (replaced LS), LTZ (replaced LT), SS and SS S/C (replaced SS)

so, for 05 there was an LS with the sport pack and an LT with the same for 06. cars with that package have the 140pmh gauges, spec wheels, sport cloth or leather seats, for 05 they had the pioneer pack, for 06 is was an option, pirelli P6 tires and a chrome tail pipe. i THINK all the coupes have a spoiler, but don't quote me.

no i definately dont have those i have the ugly silver seats n guages n so forth none of the goodies...yet any ways

In 2005 the LS was available with an option code "1SB" that included everything you listed there. I have it, I factory ordered it that way, and it is the hotness.

After 2005, the package was renamed "3LT"
