heard today we'll be makin some coupes next week 1 in 20 will be an ss/sc....dont know how true this is but sounds about right ill try tomorrow to see if this is fact or fiction

That is very cool. I didn't think there were going to be any SS models on dealer lots until at least late January. Glad to see that they are shipping already, I can't wait to read the posts about people picking up their new cars

 

wasnt anything new on saturday...besides a couple base coupes...i'll get some new pics as soon as i see some ss's

 

Those SS's aren't going to dealers yet, they're sitting in the lot, it will be till january until one of us gets our SS....

 

i cant wait for my black ss with ebony/blue inserts..

no we havent been workin...there are some more base coupes on the lot last time i looked...havent been by since sat...to much snow on the cars and too damn cold for pics...maybe ill check tomorrow and get some pics if it aint too cold ...

yeah you probably wont till mid january...they've moved the build date from dec 8 to mid-january...

barring anymore unforseen problems thats when they should start making then...(starts praying)

 

Banshee, have you heard what the holdup is? I mean man theya re taking their sweet time getting these out already? They must have production delay notes at the plant no?

 

i think a big part of it is line speed..once we start being consistent at runnin good numbers youll see more and more coupes...but i work in the underbody so all i really know are our problems.we just got back from the holiday break and they did some retooling so just a matter of time till the line gets goin decent again...wish i had more answers but as of right now i havent heard of any real big problems

PS Dealers Suck, they have NO enthusiasm about the Cobalt!

 

No dealers suck and dont know **** about the cobalt.....when i ordered mine he tried telling me it only came in blue red and black....what kinda crap is that...then to make things better when i ordered way back in september he said 4 to 6 weeks.......well here we are in Jan and I asked my salesperson at the dealership what ever happed to the 4 to 6 weeks and he said he never told me that....................what a bunch of no nothing idiots

u must have some crappy dealers then, cause my dealer is just as excited about getting his and i am about getting mine. hes even trying to see if he can get a deal worked up with installing the body kit and z06 wheels...

 

Dealers in this area generally do stink! and Z06 wheels on the balt?

I've been to 6 and each one was like ya it's comin, dont know when....

 

I should drive down there and pound on the door till i get it, you would think GM would like its employees to be showing off new models....who knows!!
