Why should I buy a Cobalt?
Top notch performance for the money, great looks, a growing aftermarket, annoucement in Autoweek of Stage 1 and 2 packages coming out soon, coupe SS looks way better than 4 door SRT4, exclusivity...

i test drove the sedan which drove very nice. but im not looking for an old mans car. i want the coupe
which ss? the 2.4ss? the auto tranny is nice if you dont want to mess around with shifting, especially if it's your commuter car. Most people in america today see cars w/ manuals as being sporty and performance oriented, but in europe, the auto is viewed as a luxury. kind of 2 different view points for reference. I can tell you the manuall will probably be faster, eventually.
I'd say buy an ss coupe for its sexy taillights, sssc for its performance, ss2.4 sedan for its luxury, and base for it's reliability/even better gas milage. not all coupes are the same, little differences, as well as huge differences ie:engine, seperaate each one. same with the sedan, but no 2.0 sc.
remember the ss means super sport which implies that the car is performance oriented.
