yea yea so i got a tiket after a year and a half wasnt even me he got the gf, so i made him come down and proove that the tint was illegal he wasnt tooo happy about that but anyway heres my question, can i just bring a picture of my car without the tint on the windows? and if so can anyone hook me up with an image of a black lowrise without tint if not ill just write the DA some looooooooooong letter and im sure he will love it lol. anyone care to share how they got out of a tint ticket if possible

 

Depending how much it is, just pay it. In NJ it's only $52 so by time you go to court, take the day off to go, pay court costs, etc. even if you win the case you'll still wind up paying more than if you would've just paid the $52 from the get-go. I've gotten 2 tickets and I just pay 'em. Not worth the time/aggravation to fight them. I know it's illegal and it's my own fault/decision to have them, so why bitch about it? That's just how I look at it.

 

ya im not taking them off i like to know that at night people cant see any goodies in my car lol im in ny so im not sure how much it is here

 

TOO God damn much. Thats how much. I think theres a like $75 surcharge just for going to court. The actual ticket isn't bad if I recall correctly. My brother has about 40 tint tickets. Hes got 5%. Just pays them though...

 

yeah im in NJ too and i just pay that ****. i got pulled over the other day for my tint, tails, and exhaust (which by the way is only a catless dp so its really not loud at all). i got a ticket for the tint and a warning for the exhaust. the cop said to me before he left "just go ahead and take care of that tint for me." i said "yeah i thats gonna happen b/c to me its worth it to leave the tint on and have to pay a few bucks every now and again and have my car look good." hahaha. i think that cop will be looking for me every day now hahaha.

 

is there actually a law that says a cars exhaust cant be loud and not a bike or a truck? i find it strange that a bike can fly up and down the road loud but a car cant? im pretty sure theres a noise polution regulation no matter that it is your driving. as for tint yea im just gonna pay it i guess i usually dont go down without a fight but since the police station is right up the street i beter just keep them happy lol

 

I have gotten out of a tint ticket...down here in LA its 182 dollars, and i got pulled over on the interstate in 8am traffic on I-10 and the cop said "i noticed your illegal tint thats why i pulled you over" ....LMAO i seriously laughed in his face and told him to pull over the ******** going 90 mph (not saying i disrespect cops but comon, tint on the interstate?) but anyways 2 months later i went to the court house ready to fight this, i explained to the DA that i was in the process of moving out of my home into my dorm (which is true he pulled me over the first morning i moved out of my house ive lived in for 18 years) and explained how the truck was my uncles truck and he sold me the truck for 100 bucks so that i could leave home and go to college, i told him i was already 10,000 in debt for my first year of student loans and i had no idea that the tint was illegal (told him the tint was purple n faded n **** even though my truck was gorgeous with fresh dark tint lol) and I even told him i paid a tint place 50 bucks just to take the **** OFF (which wasnt true) he said "you know man im glad to see your going to college and i respect that your paying your own way and blah blah blah, basically stated as long as you got it taken off thats fine, and wished me luck in school and said "theres nothing i can do about court costs" (42 bucks), alot better than 200+ ....so thats my story, obviously my sincere acting helped, and most of that story i told the DA was true excpet for the whole 100 dollar truck and getting the tint off.......

lol well apparently my gf's friends dad is a cop and is gonna take care of it. if not ill find another black cobalt without tint and bring in a pic, she acutually got pulled over again so i told her stop driving my car ur long blonde hair is a target. ive never been pulled over for tint and i drive next to cops all the time
