Windshield Repair
Well I have a very small chip/crack in my windshield. I've never had it happen in any of my vehicles and I was just wondering if people have used one of those companies that fill it in with the resin and repair it. I think Safelite is the one I always see. Is it better to use one of these places or just replace the windshield and save the hassle of doing it later anyways? Thanks.

I have had 3 chips fixed on the balt. One of them actually had to be injected twice inorder to fill it. I also have had three done on my '92 Cavy, and two done on my '91. I have yet to have one spread after being fixed. I use speedy auto glass, and will continue to do so. If the chip cracks after being fixed, they put what you paid for it towards a new windshied.

i have full glass through Geico , they have me use Safelite.
Its free through the insurance and Safelite guarantees it for life.
A friend of mine had a bad chip that started to crack quickly and has the same insurance as me, Geico had Safelite just replace the windshield.
