Winter tires
Winter tires
So im thinkin of picking up some steelies for my SS/SC,
I was wondering whats a good size for steelies and a good set of tires for traction? I had kumho kw-17's last year on my saturn, they were alright, im looking for something with a bit more traction (since the car has nearly 100 hp more lol)
Also are the brakes larger on the ss/sc than the 2.2l cobalts?
And lastly, whats our bolt pattern and offset?
Thanks guys!

Not sure how much steel wheels are (I'd guess US$60 each?), but I bought a set of polished 17" wheels from a brand new HHR on ebay for US$185 for all 4.
The ultimate winter tire is the Bridgestone Blizzak, but they cost way too much and wear out fast as hell. There are other tires that are comparable to these that wear a little better and cost less.
The shop I worked at used the WinterForce tires a lot, and customers really seemed to like them, though I've never used them personally.
