Wiper Blades
Anco's are pretty good and fairly cheap. From walmart I think...better than the pylon ones. I was thinking about mcguyvering a set of my own but that seems like a crappy and expensive idea.
Supposedly bosch are the best, I bought a set of michelin's and the larger blade slid off my damn hook...quality right there. Anco's and pylon are nice and snug and cheap...but the anco's perform better.
Do you drink rain-x soda?

I just bought the bosch icons at advance auto parts, they had the buy one get one free...but I didn't realize it was a rebate lol. The signs by the blades didn't specify that at all so I go to pay and he's like it's 40+ and I said it was buy 1 get 1 free and he shows me this little rebate slip so I'm like grrrrreattttttt lol.
I tried the Bosch Icon blades and was FAIRLY happy, but repeat what TOOLMAN said, the center of the blade leaves a big streak a lot of the time, like the arm doesn't have enough spring tension to keep the blade forced down. I got rid of them recently and went back to Tripledge blades, because I've always had good luck with those on my old cars. Arm tension is restored but we're back to the pressure point issues where you'll occasionally get small streaks here and there, particularly with the **** storm we just got hit with.
Bottom line, I think if one can find a way to increase tension of the arm on the glass the beam style blades would be phenomenal.

My factory blades wore out, so I decided to try the rain-x one on the drivers side. Honestly, it was not worth the money. Maybe I got a bad one, but it leaves a 3 inch strip in the center of the blade where it does not wipe cleanly. Also, when it rains (rather than just sprinkling) the blade somehow pulls the water about 8 inches back onto the windshield on the back-stroke. It is really annoying.
I use bosch icons. I had them for 2 winters now, and I'm gonna change in the spring. I had to bend the rubber a lil bit for a perfect contour, but with over 20k miles on the pair, i cant complain at all.
I'm pretty certain I'll be trying out these Bosch Icon blades sometime soon. It seems that a lot of members are really sastisfied with them.
