Al right just to start off with. the day i bought my 2006 cobalt ss/sc, my front spindles gave out and cracked, so i took it back tot he dealer, the day i got the car back, it had a acceleration rod knock. # 4 rod bearing. WHEN I GOT THE AR BACK, mY CAT LITTERALLY EXPLODED, KABOOM. aFTER I GOT MY CAR BACK, ITS BEEN GREAT TILL I MOVED BACK TO KENTUCKY FROM CALIFORNIA. wITHIN THE FIRST COUPLE MONTHS BACK, I BROKE not one, not two, not three, not four, bu five roll pins and one bolt/nut. Andwhen i was done getting the 3 one fixed i drove my car for a few weeks, and my wireing harness caught on fire including my pcm. GM SAID PCM, SHORTED OUT. So after i got that fixed nto even 5 days later i hit a animal, and caused 10K$ in damages. So i finished that project up about a month back or two. So i was driving down a main rd from my town i live in to a place called elizabethtown kentucky. And in doing so, a trail blazer from OKLAHOMA decides to murge into my lane without caring if he hits my car. Well he pushed me into a damn dith and made me stop from a 55 roll to a omph roll. The dude took off, and i caught up with the idiot. I call the police, i give the police my side of the story, and then i hear the idiot drivers side. He says: " He was swerving in and out of traffic almost maing people wreck and he hit me when he merged into my lane. What is so funny about this is. My wife took a picture of the dude on her iphone being stupid and when he merged into my lane and hit us. The cops seen it, and this idiot didnt. I mean i dont even drive like that. swerving in and out of traffic. yeah not responsible lol. But anyways the reaon i brought this up was, people tell me my car is jnxed (Hopefully i spelt that right) And they tell me to get rid of it. I just put about 10K In the car, including all my performance parts. Like new engine, ported blower, pulley, hp tuners and so forth. What do you all think i should do?

 

I had similar (though not nearly as extensive) with my moms car when I was younger. It was a Saturn, I cracked the windshield hit 2 dear put it in a field (snow/ice) then bent the car in half again snow and ice... All of that happened in the span of roughly a month. After that I refused to ever own a Saturn... though thats not really an issue anymore. Sorry to hear about your bad luck though.

take your parts off sell it for stock get a new one and put the old parts on a new one

 

I just put a new engine in. ported blower with 2.6 pulley, clutch kit. injectors, harness new ecu, hp tuners, exaust, intake, ssp front mount heat exchanger. alot of this stuff need to stay on the car if i sold it. Would you happen to know how much i could get for it. The engine has about 6k on it, the car has 80k on it, all ne wparts same 6 k. So yeah..

 

hmmm. no im about to take a 3 to 4 grand hit on a lone to get a new car my self. that is the problem with modding cars it dosent make it worth **** in the end

I was planning to mod my car. But, I am trying to get it paid off first. I've been tossing an extra grand a month on it. But then this month my rear brakes died and my heater cracked the windshield... haha And then last month I got to change the tires. It's not making it easy to throw the cash at it.

 

lol yeah, i mean with the mods i have i am beating stis at digs, evos at digs that have intakes exaust and boosten way more then stock, so i aean my car is pretty quich for a s/c i jsut dont know how quick, my best thing with the s/c is launch control.. TOTALLY HEAR YOU ON THE TIRE TO LOL. I found my tired on ebay from japan, they have a 3 year warrannty and i got them 340 shipped to my door step.

You can buy sea salt anywhere. Get an obsidian stone aswell and keep it in the car.
