Wrecked it!!!

I was on my way to work this morning at about 6:45 and went around a turn that was unplowed and the rest is history. 35 mph into a ditch at a 90 degree angle, the car hit, dug in, and flipped onto the passenger side and had to be taken via flatbed to my local wrecking yard until I pick a body shop to take it to.

Havin a good day so far, then I called work and they wanted me to come in so I went and worked for 8 hours before I could come home and be depressed and look at pictures of my cobalt and videos of me driving it around.

Today sucks.....

The Pirellis, from what I hear they suck in the snow. Bad part is, I had a ticket in another state that I didn't pay so I found out I don't have a valid license in the state of Pennsylvania today while I was being read the riot act in front of my rolled car. So I'm probably going to lose my license for a year and my insurance company might not cover it, since I'm not a valid driver!!

I don't have damage pics yet, I wouldn't mind heading over there but I don't think that'll happen. Once I get my rental car I'll grab some pictures of the car, it's pretty smashed up though, everything under the headlights is gone back to the tranny mount almost.

It's more complicated then that, they don't suspend your license. I went to renew mine and if you have any outstanding violations in another state it bars you from renewing your state license.

So wait....you were driving on an expired license anyway?
Not good dude. I think your right in that your insurance company can say that you defaulted on your contract with them and refuse to pay.

I'm hoping the insurance company won't consider it a loss, will let me pick a good collision shop and get this car back on the road and running again. I don't want to lose the car, I wanted to hit the 12s by the end of summer. I'll be lucky if it hits the road by summer now. Another set back, but, hopefully they don't total it........again.

Man , so sorry to hear about the car . Plead with your insurance . It worked when my trans am was stolen and vandalized . It was just over the amount that they total it and they fixed it for me after I nearly begged my insurance agent .

Insurance is going to fix the car, I'm so relieved that they're going to take care of it. I'm going to jump on the opportunity and have the entire car sanded down and blocked and repainted from the bottom up.
