wrong plugs...

wrong plugs...

Well, I ordered the BKR7E plugs from sparkplugs.com and they sent me the BKR6E ones instead....will these plugs still work ok if im running the 2.9 and stage 1? Ne info please help

Those are not 1 step colder. That is the only"problem" (if you can call it that)

when I look up applications used for the 7e's the cobalt isnt mentioned wtf now im worried about having since purchase the 7e's from cobalt addiction ...

dont have em yet which is why im freaking out grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr they might get here today or tomorrow AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH watch me put em on my car drive 10 feet away then BAM my car blows up monty python style with me flying in the air with a blow up doll and a sheep.

Those are for replacing the stock plugs (same heat setting)

Substitute the 6 with a 7 to get 1 step colder.

Oni the bkr7e's are sold by about every vender for our car. Ive had them in mine for around a month and they seem better than stock

How much did you pay? I got 4 at o reileys for $6

also what is the determining factor to how you can tell if a plug is 1 step colder or elevnty billion steps colder?

A jump in performance.

And too cold isn't good either. 1 step is all that is neccessary.

I have been running stock heat range since I got my GM stage 1 and put on a 2.9 pulley. Car runs great....over at the RLforums there is a thread about this, and you should be ok to run stock heat all the way down to 2.8...anything below you will need 1 stage colder. But only do this if you are running either GM Stage 1 or 2. I just recently put my 2.7 on and bkr7e's and it runs awsome. But of course every car is different.....

I mis-read your initial question.

BKR6E's are the stock heat range.
BKR7E's are one colder.

The number is higher so it is one step colder. If it were BKR8E's then it is 2 steps colder...I don't think these are available though.
