Common problem I've heard banging where the latch is helps and when you finally get it open just lubricate the latch.

Fix it while you can.
My passenger side would do it every now and then but I didnt worry about it because it would eventually start working again and I mainly use this car for driving to work. Then one day when the passenger side wasnt working the drivers side decided to stop working as well.
Trust me you only have to crawl out your window once before you decide it is time to fix the door .

Both. Won't open from either one until it wants too. Luckily it hasn't done that in over 6 months. But yeah it was pissing me off cuz I took the door apart and there was literally nothing wrong with it. Everything was as it should be, yet it didn't open lol

I had that issue a few times,
Fixed it every time by unlocking the door. There is a setting in the car where you can get just your driver door to unlock when you shut the car off vs having both unlock.

If you're asking me, yes I did. I bought all new parts for the door handle assembly and lube and had it all on standby.

Had the same problem. Fix it while u can open the door. Just take out the latch, you'll find the problem once its outside trust me.

so I tried pushing the door in while pulling on the handle, no luck... I was pushing on it to the point I was afraid I might dent the door itself..

Both my doors stopped working for me at the same time a few months ago. The link in the second post solved it. But man, that sucked. I was stuck in my car at work.

My last SS had this problem but only when a passenger would pull on the door handle (interior) as I was engaging the unlock switch. It's almost as if the handle unhooked itself from the locking mechanism. Having them let go and then cycling the lock a couple times fixed it.

Not exactly what you experienced though...

All I have to say is THANK YOU! I have spent the last two days trying to figure this problem with my drivers side door out. Finally she opened after about 20 seconds of me trying using the technique above. Thanks guys again!
