Wtf..... My plugs Smdh

Pulled the plugs today an omfg wtf is going on in there, back story had NGK LTR5GP plugs in car ran fine but was told to put stickers n so I put the stockers in car drove fine been in there since bout 37k miles car has 43k now, everyone knows the story behind me blowing stock turbo so put my new turbo in car still blows white smoke added my catch can white smoke stopped for awhile while boostin car would get spark blow out, CURRENTLY pulled the plugs and the gap was .035-.036 across all mind u I was running 27psi on stock turbo, here r the condition of the plugs now from left to right of the engine when ur looking at it. All the AC delco have oil on the except the NGK plug which I DNt kno why was still n my car.
OH THE top plug is the plug to the furthest left when looking at the motor

How can you change your plugs and accidentally only change three of them? If you ever decide to sell your car you should delete all threads like this one.

The gaps are too wide.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...s-gaps-296263/

27 PSI seems a little beyond the turbo's maximum efficiency. At some point you're just generating more heat.... sure it sounds cool when you tell people you're running 27 PSI but that's about all it's good for on a K04. Curious who your tuner is.

yeah around 23 psi the car is almost out of effciency. I think 23.7 is the number. That gap is too wide. I have mine at .032 and no spark blowout or misfires on stock plugs.

First off I'm at higher altitude look at me location, runnin 27 psi was fine for the car. been running that for give or take 16k miles no issues til I dropped down to sea level going home On leave. Not sure bout the plug swap maybe one of my boys swapped it while i was on leave or i could have done it before i left, its wutever it'll be fixed pretty sure my car is n better condition then those making dumb ass remakes, hence all the dibs I see lol y'all are to funny sometimes.

True. Elevation does play a factor. Im still tuned at 24 psi and I am at a higher altitude than you

Please post up after your build is complete so we can place bets on how long it'll be before your car is down again.

0 times.

Of course I don't have:

- Spark blow out due to crazy inconsistent gaps.
- Random unchanged plugs
- Random people possibly working on or driving my car while I'm away
- 27 psi tune because racrcas
- Tune set up for higher elevations running at sea level
- White smoke (water)
- Rusty plug (water)
- Magic catch can to stop white smoke

I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm just saying that you should be the only one to work on or drive your car if you don't want it to break. If you can't work on it, find the best person you can. Don't skimp on parts. If you half ass your mods, maintenance and diagnoses your car is gonna be down. .. again.

How Srry my job keeps me in the field training, and always overseas fighting endless wars..... My car I left with friends who also hav cobalts of course I would trust their decision if their cars r built beyond mine, now that I'm bk from Afghanistan I work on my own car n my own garage right now it's n pieces decided to tear te block down, found cylinder 4 to be the problem maybe dropping oil pan now to get them out.... The tune I had (27psi) ran fine for months I was told it was for higher elevation if my car started acting up after the tune I would have took it off car ran fine had no issues til I drove home, besides that if I hav a question I really need answered I would ask monograt Cmiller, ff ace and they can tell u I even text Cmiller besides that I take my friends word cuz I physically seen them work on their cars I helped and they run fine why not let them work on mine if they been around the LNF platform more then me? My response isn't sarcastic but guess u DNt kno my background hence ur response. On why my car is the way it is, I brought it from a kid who knew Nuffn bout the LNF and was totally fuccd the first few months of having it.
