When i put the material on, it was too tacky, and i smoothed it out completely, but then when it dried it came out ALL bubbled out.

if you used the spray glue mentioned, you dont need a ton of it. also, make sure you sand the padding off the original insert, it will look like crap if you dont have the peice smooth.

aising the dead with this thread but I can't figure out how to remove the clips in the door handle to open the door or where you pull it shut. I have huge fingers and I can't find a tool to pry them off. Could anyone throw some advice and exprtise my way?

I've done the door thing before...Do you mean the covers behind the handle that cover the screws?

Yeah that one and the one inside the little handle you use to pull the door shut... I can't get those off at all

They are some what of a pain in the ass...I used a jeweler's flathead screwdriver and something really thin and long to hold it open. It almost feels like you are going to break them at the tab, but they won't if you are careful. If you do break it, we can get you replacements for cheap. I think I broke two of mine. I almost wanted to put some adhesive velcro on it and behind it to prevent that tab thing again if they broke.

After you prime, paint, and clear the handle, the clearance is practially nothing. If you use an automotive clear, you will be screwed since it is too thick. Have to use an aerosol one.

Multiple coats at that...

BTW, the wife put the addy for the performance place in the other thread.
