This worked beautifully. With every bolt rusted it still took only 5 hours to do an entire exhaust swap

Amazing right up. I'm going to attempt this on the weekend (long weekend for us Canadians :P)

Great pictures, I've got an '05 SC, with a ZZP 3" to 2.5" header/downpipe. I'm very excited to try this.

Any performance gains (before tune) on 100% stock car? (doing all bolt on's before i go stage 2 and need a tune)

Thank you! There is a hell of a difference with the header and downpipe even untuned. I'm sure the gain will be even better for you. Good luck! If you can spray the bolts down real good a couple hours before the install. Especially on an 05

BTW if anybody needs any magnaflow exhausts, I have THE hook up. Guaranteed lowest price out there! Pm me

watch out for the top right bolt on the header (if your looking at it from the top) it is a PITA and a half to get off. other than that its as easy as this write up says.

It also quiets the header noise some. Yes headers can make a wooshing noise that sounds kinda like an exhaust leak but isn't. They are tube stainless steel and don't block out sound like a thick manifold.

By the way you might want to note that the 2.4 auto is all done through the top side and is easy to do up there. You can't get to anything from the bottom on mine.

Ok guys this is a great write up... just installed the bad-mab headers with my stock lsj dp makes a buzzing sound under acceleration is it suposed to or is it a leak idk wat it is ....

Thanks for you advice

One thing I've found, if you have them, is a 13mm ratcheting wrench, particularly with the swiveling head, makes the job super easy from the top, as you can get to all 10 bolts and knock them out pretty quick that way. Only one this doesn't work for is that JBP fuckup of a header, but if you're installing that you deserve whatever it takes to put it on.

Awesome

Cant wait to install my new Longtube headers and downpipe from RacingSolution.com when I get home from Iraq, I will most likely use this DIY guide!
