Um its been a bit since i took out a GM sterio but if the color code is the same your looking for purple or green not w/ stripe or white or grey in front w/o stripe. Rember Leds are polar so they all have to be the same direction. As for a video I do not have one and the car was sold years ago. But The LED Intensity basically got brighter when the sterio was Either Really high or really Low. It would be dim or off on the more mid range notes.

you are missing his point, lights under a map dont help you do anything unless you plan on tracing it, lol, but i guess if you recline your seats, lay on your back with your feet in the back seat they might help.

looks sick, I've been doing a few lights here and there in my malibu. the cup holder lights are my next goal, I'm also working on a light that turns on to light up my console when I open the lid. The dome light never works because if you stick your head over the console to see anything the lights don't shine in the box, ha ha. so putting lights in the box eliminates the head in the way prob. ha ha. great job man!

amen to that. ha ha. I can't tell you how many times I've been out in the driveway or using just the light from the garage at midnight trying to finish up my wires, only to go back in the morning and doing it all over again because all I managed to do was make a mess.

It took about 4 hours total, from Removing the Cupholder to Installing everything.....I took my time, and didnt rush. I ensured all my solders were good and I think it turned out nice.....

yeah arm rest lights would be dope. and since my center console opens up I'm thinking about gettin a blue light to turn on when it opens. I've got my entire floor glowing blue and white as a nice ub accent. Sorry if i'm stealing this thread, if anyone wants me to move it I'll create one.

not a bad idea at all my friend, looks like I may get some red for the interior too, double mount it all to have a "superman" theme. blue front red back and visa versaif I get bored of that. Maybe even a couple more switches to change it up to even go red and blue front then back, or just get a relay (maybe not the right word, can't remember) so the lights change on their own. hmm, now the cranks are turnin. ha ha.

So what is better A or B. Also I'm thinking of running a slices from the dash dimmer control or the fog light button. oh and sub resistors for transistors.

quick questiion, how did you remove the cover where you put the switches? did you just pull? is it just snapped there? I'm always afraid of breaking something when I take those panels off.
I was looking for a nice spot for the switches for my neons under the car and under the dash... and I might throw in your idea.... me likes. :thumbsup

its pretty easy. you take off the piece in the middle by the ebrake first. then the cupholders then the final piece around the shifter. they are held it by snaps

Ok, so random questions. Where did you mount the bars under the seat so that no one kicks them and breaks them? Also, badass floor mats. What kind are they?

Here is what I have installed in my Front vents and under my dash. granted the ones I got are not as long as these. However these will do what you want for under the dash and seat. all pre-wired ready to go.
