Check under the car and FACEPALM! It does only go on one way though(that last comment was jokingly). It is pretty straight forward just follow everything and do it right.

its not completely necessary to take the rear mount all the way off. you can just loosen the bolts and slide the spacer in there this way you dont have to deal with trying to line everything back up which was a pita for me

I did the front mount first, rear mount spacer second, lowered the car back down, loosened three upper motor mount bolts a turn, drove back and fourth in my parking space a few times, tightened... still getting wheel hop as bad as stock...

Actually, I have loosened the three bolts, on three occasions now, and still wont cure my hop. I've got Goodyear Eagle F1's (GS-D3) with about 38 psi in all.

HELP!

Loosen each bolt on the engine mount found under the hood on the passenger side by one full rotation and then retighten. i had that problem and someone told me this. works like a charm.

so can you install the front mount and rear shim and then loosen the mount and then tighten it? or do you loosen the engine mount bolts before installing the front mount??

Me and CTcar did this a few weeks ago: support the engine at all times... 1) we loosened the upper mount, 2) replaced the front, 3) added the shim in the rear, 4) drove the car back and fourth in the drive way two times, 5) tightened the upper.

Bada bing, bada boom!

Yes. The upper mount was loose from beginning to end. By loose i mean about three turns of the bolts...

I just had the mount put in and I get some strong vibration at idle but it is smooth when rpm is over 1k. Is this normal?

its not so annoying anymore today.. the benefit of the crisper shifts and less play on the motor outweighs the vibrations at idle

i still cant stand the vib.. the steering wheel rumbles too much at idle and the whole car feels much older than it is.
I might consider switching to gmpp mounts

Thank you for the write up. I just installed mine today. It took about 30 min and that includes getting the tools out and putting them back up. I usually only have wheel hop when it rains so I will test it then. I have to say I did notice some vibrations I should get use to that.
