How-To install spark plugs

Spark Plugs are an easy and fast install for just about anyone in most cars. Although i am sure that many of us are 100% comfortable with this matter, i was doing mine, so i figured that i'd tape it for anyone that is new to this.

Damn straight they do, there's a thread in the 2.4 Engine section called "High-Performance Spark Plugs" or something like that that tells all about them.

It does warm up quicker come to think of it, my car was frozen yesterday morning and I drive like an 1/8th of a mile up the hill and my windows and windshield is already melting and the air is warm almost hot.

yeah, a little bit. but a lot of that could be that i'm sure GM just speed gaps the plugs from the factory. a good cleaning and proper gap on the OEM plug would probably help as well.

i guess that it could, i mean, if they really do help the car run better, then it stands to reason that every belt driven device would run slightly more efficently.

I think this is quite possibly the best $30 I've spent on my Cobalt so far. And they're just damn spark plugs. They are NOT A ****** MOD

with copper i used to change them once a year... plats last a LOT longer, in fact some car makers say up to about 50k... BUT plugs do seize up over time, so i don't think that i'd go longer than 20k or 2 years.
