15mm bolts = 37 lbs
18mm bolts = 74 lbs torque

Just a FYI for some.

I actually had to get a piece of wood to jam between the valve cover and the inside of the engine bay, by the fender, to keep the engine from moving too far to that side...makes putting the mount in easier.

Took me ten minutes to put on both of my cobalts...SS/TC people need to be careful taking the nipple off for their air box.

Yes, only difference is you must remove the stock air box, as it would be in the way...

10 minutes for the upper mount, and about 60 minutes for both tranny mounts together

ill probably get an engine mount eventually, i dont have really any performance mods right now...so ill wait til i have more power to attempt to put to the wheels

Hey everybody,

I put in the upper engine mount and tranny bushings last night with my friend. The vibrations are pretty noticable/ kinda annoying. Do these lighten up at all or is just something i will have to deal with?

Give it a few hundred miles (2 weeks or so) and then evaluate Much better...

Anybody have torque specs on these bolts for the engine mount? I'm seeing 74 ft-lbs in the chilton manual...
