How to install Turbo XS cold air intake!

this is my first how to guys, so bare with me. this how to is just on the install of the turbo xs intake. i had the injen intake before, so i forgot how to take factory intake out. im pretty sure it was easy tho.

parts needed,

10mm (ratcheting) wrench. ratcheting wrench makes life whole life easier.
10mm sockets, deep, and shallow.
allen wrenchs, for MAF sensor.
flat head screwdriver
a good ratchet!
a turbo XS intake! with clamps, hose, other stuff that comes in the box with the purchase of their intakes.

step 1) take push pins out of bumper

step 2) take headlight out. unscrew the screws shown their. all 10mm. start with headlight, than do the bracket.

step 3) take factory intake out!

step 4) move that hard line out! this is not a must, but it was rubbing against my intake, so i decided to push it down a put. all you have to do is flip the little clip thing upside down. in the first pic named flip this upside down, just take it out, and push the line down, and screw it back in backwards.

step 5)connect one of the silicon hose's on the turbo inlet, and make sure you put 2 t clamps on each side of the hose. connect hose on the turbo inlet, and put the first part of the intake in. dont tighten t clamps all the way yet, you want to still be able to adjust it a lil.

step 6) grab another hose, and put 2 t clamps on each side of it, and put it on the intake.

step 7) grab the last part of the intake, and put it on the hose.

step 8) attach filter, tighten down with t clamp, until it gets really hard to tighten.

step 9) adjust everything, make sure hose is all the way at the end of the turbo inlet. tighten down the t clamps until you cant tighten any more. star at the turbo inlet, and work your way down to the filter.

step 10) connect MAF sensor.

step 11) start the car, check for any leaks... if car runs like ****, maybe you had another aftermarket intake on there. mine did the same thing, because i was tuned for the injen intake. it even threw on a CEL. i went back to stock tune. car ran fine, no CELs.

injen drops down a lil lower just behind fog light. also the piping on the injen was smaller.

turbo XS is a lot bigger, and it sits just under the headlight bracket, above the fog light

no difference in performance,

only difference i see is that in rain, if i gave gas in the injen intake, my car would start sputtering and run like ****... ask anyone who has had an injen intake, they all have said the same thing about it

idk if its because of the location, or the filter, but with the turbo XS intake that never happens at all...

whats the difference between injen and turbo XS you ask?

difference is build quality. i could tell turbo XS really took their time designing this intake.
it seems like injen rushed it, and forgot about the most important things, like readings of the MAF... the MAF in the injen only sits halfway in the intake... really smart, so vince over at trifecta had a horrible experience trying to tune it.

if i had to choose between the two, i would go turbo XS.

all there parts are amazing quality. and i am highly impressed. price is not bad either.
