General Suspension: How To: Koni Front Struts
Thanks
Good question. Im thinking its a standard bolt but not sure of the specs. Mine came loose thus why I originally asked the question. For those who preform the install i would suggest to put some thread lock on this bolt.
I was wondering where can you get the bolt that was use in this picture. Mine came off (while still installed in the car) and I couldn't find it. Have to take it out and replace it with a stock struts and thinking of putting back my Koni struts in again when I get the time.
Thanks
Thanks
I see, so I have to re modify my stock struts again since the old one can't be use anymore? Or, I could just remove that bolt from the stock struts and place it to the once missing?
We don't have any worthy coilovers anyway. About the only set is KW Var 2's, other then that this is pretty much the best option even if the koni yellows aren't the best if you look at the graphs from a bench test. Good write up though. Does anyone make custom springs for the balt? They REALLY need to make some H&R, Bilstein PSS9/10's, KW Var 3's, and other worthy affordable coilover setups, along with more strut/shock/spring options.

^^ they wouldnt be custom springs if they were designed for the cobalt already... Theres not a lot to spring design... Call a company and ask how much it is for a custom spring rate for a cobalt
FYI - I not from around here. But the gents over @ G6Performance.com used this write-up to put together our own How-to for these inserts. Needless to say it's been successfully reverse engineering on the Pontiac G6. Me personally I'm the 2nd G6 to do it successful.
