thanks for the thread! i did it and i love it! easy as pie! but you forgot 1 tool that will save you alotta finger pain... a hairdryer. it made it so much easier. thx again, later!

ill be doing this when its starts getting nicer out.. i have a sport red tintcoat ss/sc.. ill take pics when im done. i never did like that vinyl on the door pillars. although its going to look weird when that vinyl is off. but it will look good.

sorry but definately not feeling it... If you have tinted windows I like the black vynal on there to blend the window and lines of the car together, without the vynal the lines just look really weird/off to me. Just my opinion...

Pull the vinyl, then paint it black, paint would be so much better......when the weather changes I think I will do this..... black paint ftw!

Ya know, up until I got to the yellow balt I didnt think this looked good at all, now that I have seen basically what I will look like... I wanna do it right now.

just took the door vinyl off my car.. i must say, it looks alot better. ill take a couple pics of how it looks on my sport red tintcoat color.

doesn't look as good as with the vinyl. Just my opinion. It doesn't flow, and it breaks up the windows.

i am considering doing my black cobalt for this. I hate that crappy vinyl look. It makes the car look cheap and will eventually bubble overtime.
