Appearance: HOW TO: Remove the vinyl between the 2 side windows! (with pics)

Considered doing this earlier, but it was too late and I don't know how long it takes and if I don't like the look on my car...I'm screwed. Is there any Silver's out there with this?

Instead of using a razor blade to get the edge use a heat gun or hair dryer (on high) to heat the vinyl and you should be able to lift the edge with your finger nail and it should peel off much eaiser because the adhesive is warm. Being in the vinyl business your get to know a few tricks.

I think it would look sooo much better if there was a way to shorten that black beltline molding to stop where the glsss stops instead of cutting right thru the new colored section....I think thats what ruins it. No way to get around that though

hey great idea and great how to.
i personally don't think it fits the lines of the car with this removed... however i did do it to my 06 scion xb, just on the front door, gave it a truckish/van look to the vehicle, i just think the door line throw it off on this car, if we didn't have the upper frame part of the door and it was just glass like on say a new mustang it'd be better imo.
but way to keep up the creativity.
