im about to start tomorrow, but i dont have hid projectors. i got them for free from a friend, they are halogen projectors but im going to put hids in instead

That is lots of work for something that won't produce good light. Unless they are Valeo projectors, an HID kit in a halogen projector will still produce hotspots like HIDs in a reflector housing

the light output is actually very good, its def an improvement over stock, which is alright by me because i got the projectors for free

mine ran between 350-400 for everything and about two weeks working on them a lil bit everyday afterwork... you could do them a lil cheaper and faster but i was in no rush so i took my time.

im about to begin a retrofit with some FX projectors. how can i adjust the horizontal angle if drill only 4 holes?

well you cant really, you need to get them perfect before you seal them up... so get the projectors in, put you headlights back on the car, light um up, and adjust as necessary

Gonna bump this. Any tricks besides the hair dryer to pop the reflector off? I broke a clip on my gen4s and don't wanna do it with my stock lights.

Nvrmnd. These were EXPONENTIALY easier than the 4th gens. Reflector is thicker and clips are more flexible. Hair dryer worked great.

You can use any harness would just need new bulbs since your projector won't take the size bulb you use in your car right now.
