Appearance: How to/Review: Plasti-Dip Evo Mod (Lots of Photos)
So I find that the Full evo mod (top and bottom grille) looks good from a distance, but how does it look up close? I'm trying to decide if I want to paint the crossbar and lip as well as the grilles, or just paint the grilles and leave the crossbar and lip. I've never seen it done in person.
Right on, I'm either gonna go for that or just do the top and bottom grilles, like take em off and spray em. Leave the crossbar SRTC and maybe gloss black the bowtie. Ahhh, decisions, decisions.
i tried to do my hood, could get anywhere near even coat on the whole thing used 3 freeking cans, ended up looking like crap! and super rough to the touch, got it some what decent and then ruined it by pulling off the tape, didnt want to run a razor down the hood.
I usually paint 2 quick coats and take the tape off before it settles with no problems, but the hood took forever and i tried multiple coats to make it look right. ended up tearing it off.
how did you get yours even?
