So I just did this on my car with 25k the other day. It's the first time it's been done, but I didn't get much smoke. I followed the directions to a T. I got a barely noticeable amount of smoke while pouring it in, waited ten minutes, got a little more immediately after restarting it, then as I pulled away to do the hard drive I got a big puff of smoke. There was a noticeable trail for maybe another 100 yards, but after that it was nothing. The smoke in the video is tons more than I got. Is it possible that it was just that clean, ever after 25k?

great how to!! my plugs are at the local parts store waiting to be picked up. in about a month im going to do this. 39k and it hasnt been done so there should be quiet a bit of carbon build up.

after you suck the sea foam unto the intake you turn the car off as soon as the sea foam is out of the cup, then let it sit OFF for 10 minutes. start it up and drive it around for 15 minutes or so or until the smoke is gone. then change the plugs and oil?

seems pretty straight forward to me!!

My only question is if you pour the rest into the gas tank should you wait until you've burned off that tank of gas before changing the oil and plugs, or do you go ahead and do it right then?

Seafoam in the gas tank will have no effect on oil. Just run it until near empty, then fill up and carry-on.
Oil change ASAP...

So, you change the oil ASAP after burning off the tank of gas or right after doing the seafoam in the IM?

I Seafoam then pour some in oil per instructions. Then I drive around for a day or two then change oil. The stuff in your gas tank won't matter much but to be honest since you are already doing it through the intake manifold, there is no need to put it in the gas tank.

Putting it in the gas tank really just helps with cleaning the injectors.

Its up to you CMPlxty, just cleans out carbon build up in the motor whic could effect performance and gas mileage at higher miles.

it says right on their website you don't have to change your oil after seafoaming. not saying that its a bad idea and it says if you put it in dirty oil dont change it for AT LEAST 100 miles. here is the link : Sea Foam | After using Sea Foam, do I need to change my oil? | FAQs - Gasoline Engines - Motor Treatment

Seafoam spray is fantastic. Just make sure you have a spray can trigger to go with it. Straw tends to pop off nosel also.
Over all worked as advertised.
Some one use it and check the valves. If i can i will next time.

I hope this video makes it easier for someone wanting to try and do this on their own.
how do you clean the intake on a 2017 gs with the ltg?
