I'm sure in the hot sun those projectors have gotten to over ~150* before I doubt they will be damaged.

Just 15-20 min in the over at it's lowest setting ~150*-175* should do it

alot of peeps have done the oven method. I didn't do it because i was worried about the lights melting (i tend to loose track of time and forget things in the oven and probably have add because i cant just chill for 20 mins doing nothing)

Ive also herd of peeps using a hair dryer instead of a heat gun. In reality theres no wrong way to do it as long as you dont melt it. If one way doesnt work you can always try another

Like I promised I did my part. I open the taillight and use a 100mm ccfl halo. If any one have questions about wiring and how to open the taillights this is the part jefferyss did.

Thanks for the write up and the information, I'll definitely be doing this myself in the near future.

I'd like to see some more pics of your car with the halos on, I bet it looks pretty damned sweet around dusk.

I had a question as far as color. Can they only come in white, or can you get the halos in blue? Sounds kind of newbish, sorry for that.

I was poking around on eBay, and you can get them in blue. That's what I'm going to do.

well, evidently with the seller recommended, you can only get white with those sizes. Kind of sucks since I like blue Halos, but eh, white isn't exactly "fugly" either...
