i already run opt. B. I would have the dual pass, but court/attorney fees set me back financially a great deal. I've mapped out a 400whp TVS build already, so yea..ive considered a dual pass...lol

thought you could only run 42 with a 3 inch pulley?
and can our cars handle lower than a 2.9 pulley?

i was about to do this but i think im either going turbo or getting a faster/different car altogether. turbo has way more ease and potential. superchargers are definitely cooler though

^ i wouldn't say easier for the turbo!

believe me i have done both..i have been turbo'd and i just took of the blower.

the blower was definatly easier and lot less to do.

the turbo required SO much custom stuff it was a pain.

sorry to correct you, but that is not the freon. it is oil. and our cars use R134a which is called SUVA. the term freon belongs to R12.

However, this is a very nice how-to. Nice job.

Yes I am bumping a this thread.

Hunterkiller I have a question.

I am currently collecting parts for my build. (Link in sig)

I wanted to know if the LSJ dipstick tube will work on the 2.2 . I asked in my thread and a few other sites and everyone keeps telling me that you actually did this. I would just like to verify before trying to track one down.

Thank you in advance.

-Mike

yes, i used the LSJ dipstick tube. My stock one bent and snapped off during install, so i needed another one anyway. You MAY need the LSJ dipstick as well (its a pricey piece of metal for some reason). I'd order it, measure it, and see if its the same length as the L61 stick. If theyre the same, then just return it. But yea, the tube itself will fit fine.

Thank you so much sir! You are the man!

Now to find one...

And I'll be able to compare the LAP dipstick with a LSJ one in a about a week. I'll let you guys know!

sounds good man. If memory serves me, the tube was like $30ish and the stick was $50+, so not needing a new stick will save a good chunk of change
