OK so let me guess cause we are pretty good at reading minds. you bought a pigtail from wal-mart that fits GM wire harness for the radio but the wire positions were incorrect. Am I warm?

ya, i had never done wiring for a car radio before so the colors didnt mean anything to me, so i combined a wire color chart with something i found on the forum to come up with the\at combo. that was my 3rd harness. i almost gave into the 120 one from best buy

Hah, yeah it would be nice if the author could let us know what they were talking about and maybe provide pictures. Some lazy people. Could the mod at least change the Subject so it is easy to spot this one out?

I may be buying a new headunit in a couple of days, so if I do I'll take pics of my repinned harness that I bought from Autozone.

It's the one for the 04 Malibu. You only need to change a few pins if I recall correctly.

Im still a little confused. The adapter from walmart was never specified as to what it was suppose to work with. That and the letter number thing makes no sense to me what so ever without a picture or some sort of diagram. Also they sell specific ones for our cars on ebay for like $10 which will save you the hassle
