IMO, i dont like them, plus, who wants to have the same hood as every1 else, it's just got an inlet, no way for the heat to escape, and in our engine bay, thats wut we need a hood that can bring in cool air in exchange of getting the hot air out, a cowl hood with a front entrance is a good choice, or any other hood with heat extracting capabilities

I think a functional hood like this would be awesome!

i'd like to see a ram air hood something like the srt-4 hood but with an option to hook up an intake to the hole in the hood to make an active "ram air" hood...or that mustang hood but i just want there to be a way to make a real "ram air" effect to it

UGH! Those hoods look ugly on the cars they're on already!

If you would consider a design simular to that it would have more vote.

This hood isn't bad, but I would rather see something more like some of the EVO heat extraction hoods. I like how sublte and more aerodynamically sound they are.

I would like carbon fiber more than fiberglass though.

I don't know how to post a pic so here's the link again, but the main part about the hood that i like is the dam in front & back for good air flow to kick out the hot air, I'm not crazy about the grills but I still like them because where they are would be great for when I switch my injen CA to SR. But the main thing I would like to see is a free flowing (the dam in front & rear of hood) style, it doesn't have to look exactly like this one I'm using the pic as a ref.

i was watching the speed channel one early morning and they install this hood onto this truck. This hood had a clean look, but at WOT a vent just opened up and let cooler air into the intake, this was attached to a vaccum line to make it swivel. anyone know what im talking about?

that hood is ugly as ****, why not block the front window as much as the wing blocks the back one.

Yeah that was pretty sweet. Just like the LS6 454 Chevelle. I don't think that I would like that on the cobalt though.

I think the heat extraction hood would provide the best performance by keeping the intercooler cooler with minimal aero disruption or drag.

ok there is a carbon fiber ss hood out there, but i want the same hood but just not in carbon fiber. The same hood but painted in red ( or what ever color car you have). And maybe funtional too. The dual stack TA hood would look good to, especially if it was funtional.

i would like to see a evo hood and maybe a invader hood. i hate the hoods that are out right now and plus the evo hood could cool off the supercharger.

that would be cool. I still think the concept 272 hood with a functional intake would be the best. i would pay 1000 bucks for it if i had to.
