JBP Vortex Cold Air Intake Fitment Thread

This thread is a premtive call to address the issue of customers who are having fitment problems with the new revised JBP Vortex CAI.

The latest revision is identified as having TWO welds on the TB pipe and Powder coated in black.

a) Please note that the intake will not fit at all if you do not follow the bright orange paper that was included in your intake packaging. A 3.0" intake will not fit properly without these modification performed.

b) Any fitment issues after these modifications have been perfomed should be addressed to JBP directly in an email to: info@jbodyperformance.com As with other intake manufacturers, who've had fitment issues, we will perform a small $75CDN "exchange fee" where we will ship you a replacement intake and you will ship us the old one, upon which your fee will be returned to you. Customers who intiate the product exchange and who's intakes indeed do not fit our vehicle and jig system will also receive a store credit of $50CDN towards any JBP product of choice, it's the least we can do.

Please note that we are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and would like to ensure that all customers are satisfied with their products that they receive from JBP.

I beat it with a rubber hammer till it went down the hole, probably not the best way since the intake is scratched to **** now but it worked.

I have a 3" intake, not JBP though, but it fits perfectly fine, pipe size shouldn't be an issue, must be a design issue.
