I have some late info on the track day, they are going to try and open up at 10.am There will be tech inspection for cars racing, both autocross and drag. This will give them some time to do that before we actually start racing.... So the bottom line is if you plan on racing be there early.

They claim it will be there and ready by then... It hasn't exactly been brilliant weather for such projects, but once it warms up, it shouldn't take too long to pave it and be done.
Padlock in VIR it was 83 and sunny today so Devon and Kevin and his Powell raceshop prepped Corvette test went well.But In the high plains today the highways were closed; 10 degrees and snow in Colorado and rain in desmoines. Today GLD was closed due to weather.

I'm not really being impatient.. I just figured I'd at least see ground moved to flatten out an area or something of that nature, but in retrospect that doesnt take long to do by today's rates anyways.. GLD has been closed a good chunk of their opening days due to weather due to rain/ice/cold/snow, so trust me I am aware this spring sucks this year

There plans are to use an area which is now just a field so shouldnt take very long at all to pave. My best guess is it will be asphalt not concrete so it not being done yet means nothing. The weather has to get better before that can break ground.
Prices will be $45.00 for racing $5.00 for general admission.
The $45.00 will cover either drag racing, autocross or both so you don't have to worry about paying $45.00 twice. Once you pay the $45.00 your good to go.
