I know I've seen a few SS/SC's drving around the ISU campus here. I was just wondering if anybody was on here. I recently transferred up here to ISU, so Perhaps if there is anyone here we can get together or something.

are you greek at all? if not may wanna check out Triangle Fraternity, engineers architects & scientists only. Tell 'em alum Brandon sent you GREAT help for classes to have all those guys around... good info on what to take when and what classes to/not to take together not to mention a ton of fun. they're up on Hyland ave if they ever throw a party & you hear about it.

 

Awesome. I'm actually halfway through my sophomore year. Its only my first semester here though, cause i went to DMACC for 3 semesters. I'm not sure about 104. I took a class similar to 103 down at DMACC, and it transferred up here. I'm in Maple now. I haven't really thought about joining a frat.

 

I'm pretty sure 103 won't cover the 104 req (at least it wouldn't when i was going there) as 104 actually teaches some programming.

I was going to be in Maple (or larch, i forget) when i got into ISU but then I joined Triangle straight away. Their website, btw, is http://www.triangle.org/is I'm not sure how up-to-date they're keeping it nowadays.

If you're even halfway considering it I'd, if nothing else, stop by the house or see if any of the guys are in any of your classes. It'd be a free lunch or dinner (both good, btw) for sure

I drive through (and around) Ames every once in awhile on my way to Iowa Falls. But I usually dont stay long...

Once... "site" seeing. But the route up to Iowa Falls takes you close to Ames and all that Jazz.

Iowa to me is not very exciting though....neither is Illinois

I used to live in Ames, now I live in the Quad Cities. Ames, what an exciting town. Yeah, but we might be moving back there....I want to go back to ISU.

i drive that way alot and too peoria for my job i work for design homes inc ........and that black ion looks really really familar to me

 

Lol... I am from Omaha, NE. Honestly, you would go nuts if you had to drive across I-80 for more than 3 hours. You hit central Nebraska and it's nothing but fields.

If you have ever seen Dumb N' Dumber, that's about it .

 

yeah i know what ur asying ive drove across it alot and its fricken boring but iowa is bad too its nothing but fields too lol especially on 80 and 20

 

Both suck, i sometimes go to clay center nebraska to visit and i live in Iowa. Both are boring as hell to drive through

 

^^ hahahahahahaha. I live about 20 minutes from Clay Center. I know it's boring.

Just beware, Clay county is known for very bad drivers... 30-___ license plates in general. It's ok, my relatives are from there, so I can say this...

Oh, and right now I'm going to school up in the northwest part of the state. About 4 hours from Ames... Was down there for a week in January for a theatre conference.

 

My ex-girlfriend is majoring in theater design. I remember her being in some competition too, for her make-up designs.
