2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS TURBO Carol Stream, Illinois | Auto Showcase of Carol Stream

Not sure why the rear calipers are painted and the fronts are not. Also, not sure all what mods it has. The price seems a bit high, but it sure looks nice!

Anyone have any info?

$18k is a bit high for a cobalt and its got 25k miles on it.....maybe if around 10k or less miles it might sell for $18k. very clean car but its still just a cobalt haha

 

Well I can tell you it has an abundant amount of mods and a custom dual exhaust on it . Also, that same dealer has a red 2010 with like 22k miles, and they are asking like $19k for it. I was looking at that one but it doesn't have the G85 on it, so that's where I stopped . That dealer sure has the sports cars though.

 

Aaron, do you have any more info on the mods or did you stop inquiring as soon as you found out about the nonG85?

The red 2010 they have is non-G85, I don't know about this one. I stopped inquiring on this one when I saw the extensive mods on it.

 

Custom duel exhaust
Injen CAI and INjen upper CP are the mods I see. probably tuned. could have catless downpipe

 

that dealer is ALWAYS overpriced. they also don't really negotiate either because they know some moron kid will come in there within a week or 2 and buy it.

car was probably an auction car is my best guess.

^This exactly . They won't really budge on their prices, and if you push too much, they'll actually turn you away saying that they are sorry, but your budget doesn't match your aspirations.

theres one up the street from me that was selling a evo 8 with obvious body dmg, missing a grille, a front lip and a skirt with 50k miles for 20k >.<!!

 

Just bought this one a couple weeks ago from them.



Drove 3 hours to make the purchase. I talked them down a good bit but still bent over and I don't have any warm fuzzy feelings towards them. My new ride is at the dealer getting a sleeve or new motor next week. Not to say they are to blame, it's a used car. Maybe it's just my luck and **** happens. I felt the situation out over the phone though and basically what I was told was that they would have their service "plug in and check it out to check the logs" and if it was abused they would deny covering it. I was told of the 3 cars in a year and a half that have had issues none have been repaired by them. What a load of ****, it's not going to keep a log of the last week of my driving habits lol. You know what their response would be...

Sorry for the thread rez, just putting my story out there as a precaution for any future buyers. Get your **** checked out before purchase. Even if it's got low miles.
