I'm from the gretna area.... but I as well am part of the army of black.

We ought to find time to take a picture of all us black cobalt owners.

I would like to think that I am very well modded for the area as for as cobalts go, but I know brad's done some crazy stuff with his.

Haha. I'm in. I'll be home in March, unless I can find a weekend to come down from college... but the snow tires will be on until March, and the car will be filthy....

If any of you SS guys are looking to unload stock exhuast parts or any parts in general, please let me know....

I had my eye on a set of 17" Polished SS NA wheels on eBay last week. They sold for $147 for all 4 with tires... i was pissed because my bid was $145

What do you mean by exhuast like the piping and mufler or the manifold back? I just have a muffler welded on the end of mine.

well, if this shitty cold weather ever lets up, I can get the motor all the way out of my car and get it rebuilt. Would be nice to get it running before spring hits so that we can get some good cobalt meets going.

What do you guys think of a meet that starts in Omaha around lunch time and we drive to lincoln and eat dinner? Thinking maybe april sometime?

How about we do it March 11th or 12th so then I can just then keep on driving home from college for spring break?

Or whenever. Sounds like it could be fun.

I would be down, but I've already got dyno plans with friends getting tunes. Sorry.

On a side note, I'll be throwing in at least a bigger shot and adjusting my AFR

You still haven't gotten it out man? Im off until Sunday. Saturday's supposed to be nicer out (38 degrees and clear skies). Want me to come over and help Saturday?

BTW I also got a 1/2" breaker bar yesterday. A little late though lol.

You can do that?? Last I knew you had to have training....

I've drivin my car around the track before, it was pretty sweet. Granted I could only go like 40. Long story, but my parents know the owner... I've also rode in a Corvette and it got up to about 90 on the straights. That was pretty sweet.

Oh yah. If you can do that, and people want to, I can totally be the organizer as long as I'm back from college... hehe.

they have a schedule of there events and open track days so you can plan in advance when you can race.

Is anyone thinking about going to that chicago meet?

I am. Since I plan on living in Chicago by then.... I'm done with school in May, and then I'm moving out there.

lets do this in april, I should be up and running by then for sure. If it looks like I'm going to be running sooner, then we can bump it up. Depending on weather of course.
