CED 2010 Spring Meet
I can not wait to go to this meet, just sucks that it is further for me this time by me taking a job in Ohio...will be a good time though
I had a blast last year, even though it rained...and on top of that some of the people just being dumb and breaking their cars, made my night lol

Being that this meet is inching closer..we need to start finalizing some things
Who's gonna lead the Friday night cruise? - we need someone reliable and that can plan a decent route. Must have no tolls and minimum stoplights.
Where should we eat Friday and Saturday night?
We need a cruise route for Saturday - after the meet cruise

I thought that route to down town that we took last year was pretty decent...If the plan is to park for a little while at the stadium again maybe we could skip driving through down town and loop around to 41 and take that north so that we exit right at the soldier field.
I've been on 290 a few times and never had a problem...Is there crazy construction now or what?

Wrigley is another matter. It's right in the city, which could be pretty hard to pull off with a cruise of people. Lots of stoplights and crazy drivers. It's also on Clark, which runs Northwest, which causes a 6 corner intersection. Can be tricky.
I would say if you want to check out Wrigley, do it on your own time, and not part of a cruise. There isn't a game happening, so it won't be *too* bad, but yeah.

It's down to two lanes in some places. Which is horrible.
Right now there is major construction happening at the junction of Wacker and Congress(which turns into 290). So Lower Wacker (aka the cool underground tunnel from Dark Knight) is closed, and Congress/290 is disaster.
ok sounds good. i was just wondering. like i said i never been out there. and always wanted to check them out. but maybe when i head back to New york on sunday maybe check out wrigley real quick.

Looking at it from a satellite view, it looks like we might be able to park just across from were we did last year with a lot more room, I know we ran out last year. Bart, you planning on driving down on a test drive?
We could run the test drive as a cruise for one of our Chicago Ecotec meets, then we could all maybe brainstorm.
