Well unfortunatly the family and I can't make it. We're going to look at a new car for Jen (My wife) I won'tbe having any free weekends coming up soon so we need to take this opportunity and take care of it. Really hope to see you all sooner or later. Sorry about the late drop out. Erik

 

I just got back from the meet; a big Thank You goes out to Tom for hosting the meet in his shop and providing all the goodies (food, drinks, goodie bags, and raffle prizes). I think everyone won something in the raffle. I got a few good pics too, but have to wait until Monday before I can post them so someone will probably post theirs first. We had 2 2.2 cars, 2 2.4s and about 8 or 9 SCs. A few guys went home with nice new GMPP parts too; I got an intake and there were a couple exhausts sold too and maybe one or two other items. Again, thanks to Tom, and we're already looking forward to more meets in the spring.

 

yea it was nice to see everyone there, sucks i couldnt take my car maybe when theres another meet idk but yea i got the performance exhaust kits which took forever because people at Citibank are stupid and i got some blue badges which look kick ass on my silver all i need now is a hood and racing stripes!

 

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the open house/car meet today. It was nice to actualy meet some of the people that I email back and forth with and whos posts I try to keep up with. I hope everyone had a good time and we will have to do this again.

I am going to post up some pics as soon as I can.

 

We'll since I couldn't make the meet. My wife Jen, My Tiny Tot Taylor, and myself went and traded in the Cav for a nice new 06' Chevy Equinox LS. I'll post pics soon. Looks like the meet would have been well worth the wait but we had a small window to get the new ride. Hope to see you all at the next one. Erik

Hey guys, Was happy to see everyone there, Great job and a big thanks to Tom and Crate Engine Depot/ Lattof Chevrolet. Sorry we had to run a bit early, hope I didn't miss anything important. Can't wait till spring/summer for the next one. Hopefully I'll be able to purchase some items by then.

 

in the spring/summer in our downtown we have these car shows every thursday if its not raining....you should come some time if you can cause dekalbs not that far and you had the only BLUE balt that was there which was unique o and there are ALOT of SRT-4s me and biohazard are the only ones out here doing stuff to our balts...so yea any support would be great definetly looking forward to the next one

I'm actually from Island Lake, And would love to make the THursday night car meets in Crystal lake, but I work Week Nights so it's hard to get off for that..

 

Island Lake eh? thats even closer than Dekalb but yea i understand you work the shows usually start at 7 and go til 9 its not that big of a deal... i got my exhaust system on my car today thanks to Biohazard and his friend. it sounds awesome i like it and had alot of fun with it on the way home from work

 

I just want to thank Tom and Lattof Chevrolet for putting on this show. I have to say, this is a great bunch of guys (and young lady). I gotta admit, being a "little" older than everyone makes me a little uncomfortable but everyone is very cool. Thanks for a good afternoon.
