CJ2 Additional Event Info - Lodging & Racing on the 29th
After the event many folks will be taking the ferry to local destination bar, Blarney's Island (www.blarneyisland.com) for fun and drinks.
Many will retire to the beautiful 4500 acre Richard Bong State Recreation Area (http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/...specific/bong/) in neighboring (10-15 minute drive) Kansasville, Wisconsin for camping and comiserating.
Massive has aquired a block of campsites that will fill fast, please call ahead ASAP to register, (815)675-1822. Additional campsites should be available. Sites 303,304,308 and 310 have been reserved in the Sunset area, we suggest calling the Reserve America hotline to find availability of nearby sites (1-888-947-2757 ).
We recommend the nearby Save Inn of Richmond, IL (www.saveinn.com) for those not wishing to camp.
July 29th we plan to head to nearby (approx 10 minutes from campground!!!) Great Lakes Dragaway (www.greatlakesdragaway.com) for a day of fun racing and competition. We are in talks with the track for a reduced “club” rate.
