Mine had 82 miles on it and paid 18,250. It's not unheard of. Car had never been titled.

The fact remains: Similar well-spent money on lsj's vs. lnf's should result in the lnf being considerably quicker. I'm certainly not hatin'- I said in my intro if they hadn't made the TC there'd be an SC in my driveway right now. I like all fast Cobalt's and some slow one's,too.(Ion's too I guess)

Search "wind-damaged TC's"-that might help

Screw it-I'll take the bait. Anybody wanting to "run for fun" let me know when/where and we can see what's what-I need to get a baseline where I'm @ with this thing anyway. I won't be thrilled/crushed whatever the outcome.

Okay i have an idea lets do an STL track times list.......I can bet money on it that it will be all LSJ's at the top of the list.....

Mike you find those Pistons and rings for me yet? Im still debating compression, due to me not knowing what shot of nitrous i want to run? I have everything priced out Head gasket, clutch, arp studs, walbro 255fp, aeroforce, aem wb...Im checking for new valves and springs just incase mine are not looking so good, i think thats why im mis-firing so bad, probably got a bent valve . I need to find someone to do my re-build, Poppagun doesnt know if he will have time :/

Just call me when you find um cause i cant?????

I would like to say that if I didnt mind having a larger payment with interest (have 0% now) and starting a new 6 year loan, I would trade my s/c in for a t/c right away. I even looked in to it. They are very nice cars to drive, the handleing is beyond compare to a s/c, and they have great potential. If someone put as much in to their t/c as I have in to my s/c, I would not stand a chance.

With that said, I have only raced one t/c and I only put about 2 or 3 cars on him. With just a tune, he should walk me as I sit right now.

And Mike, come get some of this if you dare.

That is all.

Its cause your tune is poop, if u had a good tune on you car and someone dialed it in you would be right on par with a tuned ss/tc ive seen it an LSJ in st.louis trap 111-112 with your mods....... You car has enough done to easily be a high 12 second car, the tune stinks. They are not nice cars to drive what so ever..... The no lift shift sucks, the launch control sucks, the seats are junk. It was a joke to me that people that own the ss/tc think the MS3 and CSRT4 are below them ,ahah those 2 cars are light years ahead of GMs precious ss/tc. The SS/TC owners in st.louis keep talking this crap, wait until we all go to the track. Its going to be fun seeing their faces when their times suck! I love to stir **** up around here too

BTW AJ i have got to tell ya something i found out!! Its pretty crazy actually....

Would you like to come have some fun?

And AJ, in a non-sexual way I will "come get some". But you have to remain with the mods you have now :-p. I know your secrets. And remember what happened last time on the races we had. You neeed a re-tune. No way I should be hanging with you with your mods.

Something else sucks, too: Ion's and anybody that drives one(Gosh,I hope I'm not stereotyping anyone). As a "St. Louis TC owner" your ranting won't change my opinion about anything except you. As if you're privy to my opinions anyway... For the record the MS3 and CSRT4 are well-engineered however they're BUTT FUGLY;especially the latter(my opinion).Find me one for $18,700 as well. As for who's talking crap-please refer to the first couple of posts. If it pads your painfully fragile ego's to point out that a new TC could/should be DESTROYED @ the track by a bulletproofed/pullied/tuned/bolted and probably sprayed lsj then so be it. Try telling me something I don't already know,Einstein. The thought occured that there may be some threatened/butt-hurt/jealous SC owners out there. All doubts have been erased. Blowerboi's-wow.

Really? You need to calm down. Second of all, why are you getting so butthurt of the internet? My times have been beat by stock TC's on this website. But, as said before, I've yet to see one run like everyone says. BTW, your talking a lot of **** on us blowerboi's. Care to come out and get destroyed yourself? DON'T TALK **** IF YOU CAN'T BACK IT UP! So, please run a 13.6 to beat that slow Ion your talking about. And who know's what I'll run. But I'd love to show you. This is your official call out. You have more hp and torque than me. Come whoop my ass. I probably dyno in the 245 range and torque is below that.

i have owned a supercharged and now a turbocharged SS.. i don't think their "****" slow.. nor do i feel that i have wasted MY money on a NEWER turbocharged cobalt..

My new car has no difference in driveability from my previous supercharged cobalt.. actually better because the suspension is still stiff, gears tighter, clutch nicer.. its a brand new car..

launch control i do not know about but it can be turned off and therefore a moot point, as goes for no lift shifting..

as far as the seats?.. they are nice! i had the leather seats in my previous car so these have more of a racing feel (for lack of a better word)

Guys, look: I joined the site to learn about my car and hopefully meet some peeps with the same interests-I still hope to. I've tried to be as diplomatic as possible;apparently that doesn't work on everyone.I also didn't "talk ****" until my last post. Regarding my last post: I may have made a mistake in assuming Jake's? comments were directed specifically @ me/my car;also the comments regarding ions/etc. were meant to be tongue in cheek. The "butt-hurt blowerboi" comments were overboard and WAY out of line-my bad. I'm still learning what to react to and what to blow off.(Mike?, if you were just trying to stir things up-congratulations). I'm guessing you guys can be cool as hell but lets refrain from assuming anything about each other except that we like to go fast and we're proud of what we drive. My name's Gary by the way. Peace.

Its cool. And yes, I was stirring up **** because really, I haven;t come across a "fast" SS/TC in St. Louis. The one the we test drove was very, very slow. And as stated, I wanted someone to step up, which someone has and we have taken it to PM's.

PS: Anyone wanna meet up tonight? It's awesome outside
