Is anyone going to Gateway tonight?

 

Tonight would be a good night for doing some runs. 60 degree weather with moderate humidity sounds like a recipe for some killer track times.

If I feel like burning the gas I *MAY* go out there, that is if any one else is going.

were you the red ss/sc runing realy high 14s i was the silver LS that ran 15.67 bone stock which as soon as i can get the slip scanned would put me at the second fastes ls that is stock. yeah it was a killer night to do awsome runs my friend in a almost stock LT1 ran 13.97, all he has is a cat back and solid mounts on street tires. and 182,xxx miles

 

No I couldnt' make it. I ended up having to do some work until like 8 so it was way too late to go.

Yeah, That was me. Horrible runs. I can't launch that car to save my @ss.
I was either spinning or wheel hopping or missing shifts.

They put the powder down for my last pass, the tires gripped and the clutch slipped.

I need to go back to RWD V-8 Automatics. Mindless, but I can make them hook.
Hope to get my IROC and my 78 Z/28 over there after I get some work down on them.

 

I would have brought the mustang down, but after my first forray into the 12s last month I broke the tranny and I"ve been trying to find a functional T5 ever since You know whats gonna happen.............as soon as I get a good tranny in it, the weather will be ****, 100 degrees and 70% humidity.
