ya not to sound like a bitch but me alog with a few others have had to drive like 2 hours one way for a meet, i mean its cool and all but we should go north for atleast 1 more this season, i know alot of jbody org guys will come.... maybe get JDF together 1 more time ay eric?

 

I lived in bloomington then moved to peoria for school (ICC for GM-Automotive Service Education Program) but my fiance goes to bradley so we got an apartment together.

And i'm not really bitching but I know theres a lot of Illinois cobalts that are from southern and what not, its just the Chicago are that posts and gets more publicity. (I mean for god sakes you guys have a sticky of members)

A statewide meet is possible, and I will get one set up, but not this year, weather is getting to shitty

 

im up for driving a good distance but only if its a well in-advance planned meet where we know lots of people will show up, otherwise its just not worth it sadly. you guys can have your own southern meet that way you guys dont have to drive far, and we will have one up here, doesnt mean you arent welcome to come!

 

yea, i have been looking for meets since i joined, last um...feb, march? and there was 1, with a bad bad turn out, in tinley, but none that i recall up north. im not bitching about driving, at all, i just have A LOT going on, and am putting my vote in for a Northern meet

I'm gonna try and set something up for the spring though that includes a dyno and this strange little man I know named Bill Hahn. We'll see what happens though. Right now I'm more concerned with paying my bills, finishing school, getting my car running right again, and keeping my business running.

 

We have been around for quite some time, but more recently started to delve into the Cobalt arena. If you click the "Product Overview" button at the top of the page, you will see the various cars we are specializing in. The Cobalt is 5th form the top of the page I beleive. We do stock ALOT of Cobalt stuff. Im sure if anyone wants to pick anything up, we can work out a nice deal for you, and hey, no shipping is cool too. I was thinking like an evening Friday thing. But a weekend lunch time would work too. We've got a kick ass bar/restaurant (Tommy's) across the way we could either pick up food at or go after the meet.

Im thinking next week Friday or Saturday. ****. That means I have to clean the shop up...

i cant do fridays, i have an important class every friday, i can do weekends though as long as its for sure about a week in advance so i can get off work

 

I'll be up for a meet. I just need to know a bit in advance so I can ask off work. Most of the time school and work got me all the time. As of know I can do Oct. 7 or 8, since I'm off that weekend.

 

I don't give a **** where the meets are. If I'm in town, I go. I went to the Bloomington one last month, that was actually really cool.

I would love to be there, but I got plans already for that Saturday.. I'll be up in Arlington Heights for most of the morning and afternoon. I won't be able to go until maybe 6-7, and from Arlington Heights to Spring Grove its about 40 minutes. Damn, if it all started a bit later I'll be able to make it.

 

Can't make October 7th. Sorry guys. I still have a shot at the next weekend in Bloomington however.

Man, I'll be in WI for a College Bowling Tournament that weekend. Sounds like fun and it's pretty close to me too...I hope there is another one then (The weekend after would be great if your thinking of changing it.)

in HS? lol, that was so long ago, like there wasn't even HS Bowling in my area, and then only for Women after I left. I bowled in the north end Junior Travel league though, if that helps..I'm originally from Wauconda (think just north of Barrington) and the G/f Bowled for Gurnee. I did some bowling for NIU several years ago.
