ok that sounds ok to me. Do you work at a dealer/shop ?

ohhh i see you want my tires too..... no sorry my tires have 11 miles on them. To get rid of them for tires with 1,800 is not worth it to me. We would have to swap only rims. sorry.

Ok... but I seriously doubt you can tell that much difference between mine (even with 1800 whole miles!) and your tires, even with 1800 miles ... and you're running the risk of even the rims being scratched/damaged with more miles than that (mine's not a daily driver - always garaged - drives my wife crazy), but it's up to you....

I think that the polished rims look best on a black car ...it was an option I believe for the 06's but no one had them locally on a lot for the black SS/SC's..

Later

No prob .... You can always put some miles on them and give me a 'holler later

(If they still look good...)

Yep...that's why I'd like to stay away from that portion of a swap, etc. if possible...

Also, when you go for the Stage 2 install (and you will ), Cable Dahmer seems to be the place to go ...took care of me, no problems ( after I got about 1500 miles on the engine...)

OOOps, my bad...looks like you've already got that planned

yea when i got the car i bought the stage two at the same time. Lucky me, they even had it in stock ! its sitting here in my appartment. I get it put on monday. Cant wait ! Later on i will have them put on the stage 3 pulley and the dual pass intercooler plate. Then maybe ill get the gmpp cat-back later on.

Right now i need an intake. Im waiting to see if a aem intake goes up for sale in the classifieds, thats the one im after

I would definitly like to meet you too, would be nice to meet a fellow cobalt s/c owner.

Will the aem intake viod my warrenty ? I dont think so, i never heard of an intake doing such a thing. I mean the aem issnt even a FULL intake, so i would think it would be ok.

Do you guys install the dual pass plate? If so, how much? Or could I do it myself? Easy install?

It doesn't seem like an easy install from what I have looked at! But I am sure you can do it, if you are handy and patient enough!

sounds good m-dub !

Yea i live here in the pepperwoods appts. I love them. Anyway yea, we can definitly swap rims if you down. As long as your are in *mint* condition then im game. We can head over to cable to get it done if you want. I definitly want to keep my tires as well, so that works out for both of us.

Hey man, we got to meet up some time and meet ! I get off work tomorrow at 7. Id like to take a ride in your care and see what your mods are like. pm me if you want ill give you my sell.

Jereime- How much would it be for me and m-dub to come in and get out our tires taken off and rims swapped ?

My rims are good, they just have a small chip in one of them, that if you go to your dealership and tell them about, they will send them out and have them refinished! Its on one of them and the chip is about the size of 1/8" circle on the back passenger side rim! Other than that they are clean!

Come up to Home Depot and you can see them if you like! I'm there all the damn time, but I am going on Vacation here next Wed, so if you want we can do it after that!

I got it in silver, g85 package, full options ( heated seats, moonroof, xm radio etc )

I LOOOOOVE the car, It Drives awesome. i also purchased a stage two kit at the same time, i get that put in this comming monday as well as getting the car tinted. Im SUPER stoked ! cant wait ! Anyway thought i would say hey to everyone, and see where everyone meets around here. I live in independence mo.

oh also ! I got the 18inch polished rims with my car. I REALLY wanted the gun metal ones, but they couldent find the rims. SO ! If anyone on here want to trade gun metal rims for BRAND NEW polished ones with only 11 miles on them. Let me know and we can go into a dealer together and get them swapped. Should only be like 40-50 bucks or so each.

Thanx again for all the help with me getting the car guys ! Man, i got a KILLER deal on it to !

Pics soon to come.

Your the same guy that was posting on srtforums aren't you?? Congrats on the new whip.

Cable-Dahmer can kiss my ass. Had like, what, 20 freakin ss/sc's and I get stuck with a dick for a salesman. But I did get a new '07 ss/sc from them through my local Chevy dealership.
I had my salesman steal it from them. Haha.

Anywho, congrats man on a beautiful silver 'balt. Have fun with that Stage 2!!
