Hey guys what's up, as of about 45 minutes ago, I just rolled into Wichita, KS, my new home for the moment. Interested in getting in on some car meets and events, and finding out where the spots are for the weekend meets, if there are any. Looking forward to talking it up and meeting with you guys, later.

Theres a few of us from the north kc / blue springs / independence area. we usually post up if we're gonna hang out or what not. and also, welcome to the site!

 

So I did some asking around today, and I'm liking the fact that there is only one liscense plate, not two, and no safety inspection, which pretty much leaves the modifying field wide open. Also, I heard there is a racetrack somewhere near me downhere, always a positive thing. One major issue though....No 93 octane to be found..That sucks, how are you supercharged guys down here making up for it down here, and where can I find the quality gas? I've heard about QT gas stations all day..Are there no Exxons, Chevrons,Texacos, etc?

 

quick trip has 91 or 92 and BP stations have either 92 or 93?? i cant remember, i just use quicktrips gas, its pretty good.

S how you liking kansas so far? Ya,theres a race track in wichita, but i dont think its too good, i think the one in topeka is much better, but thats just what i've heard. Good luck with the move

Yeah welcome!

BP offers 92 octane but I have never noticed a difference between it and QT 91. I run water injection to help the difference. Still isn't as good as running Sunoco 94 but it definitely helps.
